The Elijah Locke House

This project includes renovations and additions to an eighteenth century National Register of Historic Places residence in Rye, New Hampshire. We designed a twenty-five hundred square foot addition to replace an existing barn structure connected to the original home. Included in this new work is a gourmet kitchen, a master bedroom suite, living room and home office.

Extensive reworking of the mechanical and electrical systems was required with an eye for minimal impact on the original home. In general, the image of the building did not change from the public view but only on the private garden side.
