The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)

Portsmouth, NH

After two years of phased construction the expansion and renovations of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) offices were completed at the end of 2018. The IAPP located at 75 Rochester Avenue at the Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH has occupied half of the building at their current location for the last 8 years. Because of their continued success and growth there was a need to expand into the whole building. This project converted 57,000 square feet of industrial space into class A office space. The open layout of the existing building lent it self to an open office concept with various seating ares, informal meeting spaces, private and open offices and even a recording studio to provide in person or webinar training. The heart of the building is an open lounge with a timber framed mezzanine for all staff to congregate at lunch, during office meetings or just for a minute away from their desks.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource, helping practitioners develop and advance their careers and organizations manage and protect their data.  The IAPP is a not-for-profit association founded in 2000 with a mission to define, support and improve the privacy profession globally.

What The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) says about us

““I had the opportunity to work with McHenry Architects on a very interesting office expansion/renovation project located in The Pease International Tradeport. The project started as a relatively small expansion within a large older existing facility and due to the clients rapid growth turned into an expansion and renovation of the entire building. As the project expanded McHenry was able to respond and keep pace with every new phase. Their ability to understand the clients vision and transform that into construction documents on the fly so the work could continue and meet the clients schedule was a major contributor to the project’s success and a very happy client.” ”
