We are currently designing a new brewery complex for the Smuttynose Brewing Company. It is critical to the success of the project that the building and landscape designs are consistent with the principals of sustainable design. We are exploring energy efficient and sustainable design features throughout the design and construction process with the goal to produce a high quality LEED-certified project.

The project consists of a new brewery facility for the complete production of beer in barrel and bottled form. This requires accommodation for the delivery of materials required for the production, all steps in the manufacture of beer as well as its storage, bottling and shipping.

There will also be a full service restaurant that will include an outdoor dining area. A courtyard and galleria area will connect the brewing, bottling and restaurant functions that will include an open arcade to provide a unifying element to the design of the main public entrance.
