The project consist of a mixed-use building that is four stories high to be located on a vacant lot in the Historic District in downtown Rochester, New Hampshire. The building footprint is approximately 4,700 square feet, though the first floor is made smaller by approximately 1,000 square feet in order to provide carport-type covered parking at the rear of the building. The ground floor will house three mercantile uses, each with its own distinct storefront entry. The exterior design has been approved by the municipality and provides brick masonry cladding of the Hanson Street elevation and a system of composite concrete-based paneling on the other elevations. Each floor will contain five market-rate one-bedroom apartments with balconies and elevator service.
