Selected Projects – Commercial

18 Congress, Mixed-Use Development, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
This is a 56,000 square foot mixed-use project in the heart of the Historic District in Portsmouth. It includes underground parking, ground level retail and second floor office space. Floors three through five consist of eighteen luxury condominiums. The structure is a steel frame with brick masonry cladding and a high level of stone and pre-cast detailing.

Matrix Marketing Inc, Corporate Headquarters, Newington, New Hampshire
This is a 40,000 square foot corporate headquarters and distribution center for a computer components sales company. It includes 16,000 square feet of executive and general office space featuring a 1,500 square foot clerestory light well, an employee gym and cafeteria all with a high level of interior and exterior finishes and detailing.

775 Banfield Road for Sheds Incorporated, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
A 22,000 square foot corporate headquarters office. This building houses general offices and features an additional level for future growth or a lease tenant. The design uses decorative concrete block and a complex pattern of exterior stucco uncommon in buildings of this type.

Opus2 Revenue Technology Headquarters, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
A 17,000 square foot corporate headquarters office. Located in the Historic District in midtown Portsmouth, this building incorporates an existing brick structure and features a late nineteenth exterior detailing, a curved brick façade and a grade-level parking structure.

Apogent Technologies, Inc. Corporate Offices, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Interior design and fit-up design services for a corporate headquarters. The design consists of the space planning and layout of offices, support spaces, conference and waiting areas. Our work includes the design of furniture, millwork and moldings and the choice of colors and finishes.

Renovations to Somersworth Plaza, City of Somersworth, New Hampshire
Renovations to existing strip shopping mall consisting of the replacement of approximately 28,000 square feet of pedestrian canopy. The new design uses masonry piers and two large ornamental towers to reflect the context of nineteenth century mill heritage buildings.

James M. Taylor Furnituremaker Showrooms, Hampton, New Hampshire
Renovations and additions to an 18,000 square foot building of which 12,000 square feet is sales and showrooms. Work included master planning for rehabilitation of an existing structure.

Dinnerhorn and Bratskellar Restaurants, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Complete renovation of local landmark restaurant and tavern with new kitchens and dining rooms and bar. This project was a structurally and aesthetically complex program for a building originally built on a saltwater estuary wetland.

Turnkey Waste Management Visitor’s Center, Rochester, New Hampshire
Environmental and recycling educational center converted from a nineteenth century farmhouse and barns. This center with its multimedia display area and galleries also serves to describe the company’s plans for long-term development of the landfill site.

Strafford Farms Restaurant, Dover, New Hampshire
The project consists of the conversion of a dairy product distribution center into a family style restaurant with new kitchen, dining rooms, counter service and a tavern. There is a separate function room and bar designed for the upper level.

Weathervane Restaurants, Inc, Corporate Offices, Badger’s Island, Kittery, Maine
Renovations to a commercial seafood processing building to create offices and a conference center for the owners of a chain of twenty-two restaurants. Lower level wholesale lobster distributor and upper level offices and training center on waterfront location.

Marina Café, Wentworth by the Sea, New Castle, New Hampshire
New restaurant and outdoor dining decks to adjoin the enlarged marina. New bathing, laundry and supply areas to serve the marina members. High level of custom woodworking detail and finish.

Renovations to the Franklin Block, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Master planning for renovations to National Register building located in historic district of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Planning called for the sensitive addition of new windows and
other features and a new floor within the original structure of the 45,000 square foot building.

Governor’s House Bed and Breakfast, South Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Renovations to historic residence and its conversion to a bed and breakfast, with the owner’s
suite on the top floor. Located in the Portsmouth’s Historic District.

Cape Neddick Inn, York, Maine
A new gourmet restaurant designed to replace a landmark building destroyed by fire. The building maintains the image of the prior building on the exterior with new interior.
