This acclaimed restaurant was designed to replace a landmark building destroyed by fire. Located on US Route One in Cape Neddick, Maine, the design is intended to maintain the image of the original 1920’s building on its exterior, while creating a completely new interior. Features include two fieldstone fireplaces, recycled mill building wood flooring, a custom mahogany bar and painted period wood wainscoting. An Owner’s apartment was included on the upper floor and extensive improvements were made to the landscaping while keeping the stylistic essence of the classic Maine ‘road house’ restaurant.
